Export an MP4
Voodle export renders your project to a shareable MP4 with the drawing animation and synced voiceover. Preview first; renders spend credits.

Export is how a Voodle project becomes a shareable MP4 — drawing hand, scenes, and voiceover in one file. Preview in the editor until you would be willing to put it in front of a class or a customer, then render.
Before you hit render
- Watch the whole video once without clicking
- Check the last scene actually ends (no cutoff voice)
- Check the first scene starts on the idea, not on a throat-clear
- Confirm the cast still matches the script
Timing recap: scene length is the later of audio and the last stroke. Voiceover.
Render
From the editor, start a video render. It runs as a job — you can leave the tab. When it finishes, download the MP4 from the project.
Renders spend credits. Tweaking the timeline does not.
If a render fails, try again once; if it still fails, the project likely has a missing asset or an empty scene. Delete the empty scene and rerun.
Where to put the file
- YouTube / Classroom / LMS as a normal video
- Landing page embed
- Slack / email as a link to the host, not a 200 MB attachment if you can help it
There is no separate “watermark studio” step on paid exports you have credits for. If you are on the free plan, export still produces an MP4; spend a minute on plans before you scale.

Questions people ask
What file does Voodle export?
An MP4 with the whiteboard animation and the scene voiceovers mixed in. You can upload it to YouTube, an LMS, or a landing page.
Why should I preview before render?
Renders spend credits and take longer than a preview. Catch the late prop and the bad line in the editor first.
Can I re-export after a change?
Yes. Fix the project and render again. Each render spends credits.
