Timeline editor

The editor is a timeline of the doodle the wizard already made. You are not starting over. You are moving a character, fixing a delay, or cutting a scene that does not earn its seconds.

Open it from the project when the preview is almost right.

What you will see

• A canvas (the board)
• An object list per scene — characters, props, text, photos
• Timing on each object: delay, animation time
• A hand that inks using each object’s mask
• Scene duration, which should stay at the later of voiceover and the last stroke

Fixes worth making

• Overlap — two faces sharing a nose. Nudge; do not stack.
• Order — the narrator mentions the ticket before the ticket exists. Lower the delay.
• Busy boards — delete props that are not in the line.
• Text — short labels only. The voice should carry the sentence.
• Hand — pick a hand that matches the tone; “no hand” is for a still, not for this genre.

You can replace a character the same way you did in casting.

What not to do

• Do not set every scene to 15 seconds
• Do not rotate every prop to 0° “for neatness” — a little angle reads as drawn
• Do not add ten more objects after a clean wizard draft

Saving and export

Edits save with the project. When the timing feels like a person at a board, export an MP4.
