Voiceover and drawing sync

Voiceover in Voodle is per scene, generated from the narration line, and timed to the drawing. If the line is wrong, change the words. Do not stretch silence to make a template duration.

Write for speaking

Read the line out loud in the builder. If you need a breath in the middle, split the scene.

• One claim
• Concrete nouns the hand can draw
• No slogan you would be embarrassed to say in a room

Voices

The builder lists available voices from Voodle’s TTS providers. Pick one that matches the audience (a calm teacher is not a hype reel). Generate, listen, regenerate only the scenes that clanged.

You do not need a different voice per scene. Consistency is part of the story.

Timing rules

For each scene:

• Objects have a delay (when the hand starts that object)
• Objects have an animation time (how long the stroke takes)
• Scene duration = max(voiceover length, last stroke end)

If the narrator talks about a clock and the clock is still undrawn, pull the clock earlier. If the hand is decorating a tree during a sentence about invoices, delete the tree.

The editor is where you make those fixes after the wizard.

When audio and picture disagree

Trust the words you want to keep. Move or delete objects. Regenerating the whole project because one prop is late is wasted credits.

Credits are spent on generation and render, not on dragging a delay slider.
